I'm currently working on an OFP-CWA project so I've been looking at what's out their, getting an idea of what people are / have been using and was rather shocked to find a problem with the file most people have been using.
This unofficial RELEASE "airwolf_mod_allinone_20061125.zip" has a corrupt pbo file
That file from the 25th of November 2006 hosted by moddb.com, gamefront.com and gawd knows how many other servers has a Corrupt PBO file. That corrupt file causes one of the Islands to throw an error when selecting it in the mission editor.
THE ERROR
Cannot open object \tmyk_woodenbridgecenter1.p3d
This is because the "TMYK_Bridges.pbo" is from the 7th of February 2005 which is only 3.93mb because its Corrupted. Open it, the internal file dates are 1st of January 1970 : /
You should be using the "TMYK_Bridges.pbo" from the 24th of September 2005 which is 10.7mb
IE:
DO NOT DOWNLOAD "airwolf_mod_allinone_20061125.zip"
DOWNLOAD THIS "airwolf_mod_allinone_02-SEP-2025.zip" Here
IF and i stress IF you have downloaded that airwolf_mod_allinone_20061125.zip
Then you need to replace the "TMYK_Bridges.pbo" file with this one Here
And that'll resolve your error!
I'm surprised no ones raised this issue
