DO NOT DOWNLOAD "airwolf_mod_allinone_20061125.zip"

That file from the 25th of November 2006 hosted by moddb.com, gamefront.com and gawd knows how many other servers has a Corrupt PBO file. That corrupt file causes one of the Islands to throw an error when selecting it in the mission editor. Also the "MAP_Misc" addon is version 1.0 (and while that is compatible) theirs a more updated MAP_Misc v2.1 (which is 3+ times the size) will be better textures and scripting while retaining Object ID Functionality.

In The GUI Readme File
Short Cut Explaind For Resistance & CWA
The readme file states to edit the shortcut like this
FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -mod=awm
many people had a problem with this because they didn't follow what was said
(instead, people got creative, or should i say they tried to)
I Saw people deleting this
"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\
then trying this
FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -mod=awm
totallyoblivious to the " they left in
when you right click the ShortCut and Select Properties,
it looks like this.. in the TOP LINE
Target:"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE"

You Delete the WHOLE Target: LINE!!!

and just put in
FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -mod=awm

Windows Re-Creates the WHOLE line again PROPERLY for you
Because it knows how to do this from the other LINE that says Start in: which is
"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint"

You can also SKIP the code masters logo & the intro video by adding -nosplash and free up some game lag by adding -nomap

It Would Look Like This When Your Done
"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -mod=awm -nosplash -nomap

BUT AGAIN... YOU ONLY PUT IN THIS
FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -mod=awm -nosplash -nomap

TIP:
the comment box is a "Mouse Over" option
IE: if you type in their Airwolf The Game
when YOU put your mouse over the short cut, the little windows tool tip shows the comment
(handy place to leave notes about other software "on their shortcuts" mm u learn something new every day)
So for CWA it would be? DUH... Keep Up jeeeezzz

Q) So how do i run OFP/CWA In a WINDOW?
A) -window
LEARN THIS BECAUSE ITS COOL....
DEFINE & HELP KEEP YOUR GAME TIDY!!
-mod (Inform the EXE/Game to LOAD files in the following mod folder)
= (A Game Engine Define for the mod command,
Which basically means the = sign equals "this following word" is the Name of a folder i want to load) awm (name of mod folder)
NOTE: Inside A Mod Folder you MUST have an ADDONS folder
IE:
C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\awm\addons
C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma Cold War Assault\awm\addons

so what if we make a folder called 3RDPartyAddons, infact lets call it @3RDPartyAddons
this way its dead easy to find in the game folder as its the first folder
when folder arranged by name
remember make an addons folder inside their to

IE:
C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\@3RDPartyAddons\addons
C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma Cold War Assault\@3RDPartyAddons\addons
and put all our other mods in their..then use this parameter after the EXE name & 1 SPACE
-nosplash - nomap -mod=@3RDPartyAddons -mod=awm
you can have multiple mod folders, and make different short cuts....
